This wine is noted for its warmth, liveliness and full bodied nature.Its chalky brown soil, as a result of the weathering of Jurassic limestone, has given rise to a village appellation often compared to Volnay. It will be best with charcuterie, pâté, savory pies, grilled or roasted meats, poultry and pressed cheeses.
