The 2016 Gigondas Hallali is the lightest of the three cuvées from the cave cooperative, and it's the only one made solely in tank. Offering attractive notes of leather, earth and spice, it's still a medium to full-bodied Grenache-based blend, just made in an easy-drinking style with a silky finish.
