Dominio de Ugarte Reserva is a red wine from the appellation of origin (D.O) Rioja produced by the winery Eguren Ugarte. The winery is a family run business in Languardia (La Rioja Alavesa). Dominio de Ugarte Reserva is produced from the varietal Tempranillo (95%) and a touch of Graciano (5%). The grapes originate from vines planted in 1965 in soils rich in chalk and clay. For production, the wine undergoes traditional winemaking techniques. After the maceration and fermentation process, Dominio de Ugarte Reserva is aged for 12-15 months in new American oak barrels and rests in the bottle for a further 24 months. For optimum enjoyment is it recommended to open the wine to breathe for 30 minutes before being served.
