While the exact recipe is a secret, we do know that Fernet-Branca contains aloe ferox (also known asbitter aloe), gentian (a bittering agent), chamomile, angelica, quinine, colombo root, Chinese rhubarb, myrrh, peppermint, saffron, and ireos.
