Aged for a minimum of eight years, this full-bodied amber rum has a fruity scent with a hint of vanilla and sweet caramel flavor with a baking spice finish. Smooth feel. A good choice for mixing into cocktails. Each batch is made from a special selection of barrel-aged reserve rums and aged for a minimum of 8 years, giving it a refined flavor with notes of prune, apricot, nutmeg and vanilla. Dried fruits, vanilla, berries, and dried plums give a much sweeter and fuller bodied than the Superior version, with the same characteristic berry notes.
